The Darkmoon Faire arrives in WoW Classic ahead of the next Phase 3 update

Tickets to the Darkmoon Faire will be available to use in WoW Classic today, February 10, 2020. Blizzard confirmed the news earlier month, revealing plans for the returning event online, along with news regarding new Phase 3 content. The full release time for the Darkmoon Faire has not been revealed yet by the development team, but fans should have full access in the coming hours.

MassivelyOP confirmed the Faire’s upcoming debut. It will start being teased on the 7th of February, with early hints of the Darkmoon Faire beginning to be found in the world. Once the Faire launches, players should begin collecting Darkmoon Cards to create powerful trinkets that will help them brave the dangerous depths of the new raid. The Faire will move between Mulgore, a Horde zone, and Elwynn Forest, an Alliance zone, every six days, allowing players of both factions to experience the Faire in its entirety.

Blizzard has been incrementally releasing patches as they existed back in the original game’s launch. While this recreation is almost completely faithful, there have been minor changes in the release cycle to help account for the content droughts that used to exist. Modern players get to experience new content in their favorite old MMO every few months now, with a new raid, Blackwing Lair, releasing shortly afterward on the 12th of February. This brings with it Phase 3, featuring this new raid. However, the planned debut of two new battlegrounds for the competitive Player vs. Player community were released earlier in December to help satiate the community’s desire for new content.

According to Blizzard, completing games and quests for the Darkmoon Faire will generally reward you with Darkmoon Prize Tickets. Tickets can also be earned by offering trade goods to Chronos, Kerri Hicks, Rinling, or Yebb Neblegear.

Gamers will need to speak to Gelvas Grimegate to redeem Darkmoon Faire Tickets for various prizes, including some epic-quality pieces of gear. You’ll also be able to trade in Darkmoon Faire Prize Tickets toward reputation. And the Darkmoon Faire isn’t the only big change coming to WoW Classic this week. Blizzard has also confirmed that more Phase 3 content will be released on Wednesday, February 12.  Finally, to enjoy all the features in the game, players can Buy WOW Vanilla Gold from 5mmo.com at a reasonable price.
