EA Sports introduced an 86-rated Player Moments version of John Stones from Manchester City to FIFA 21 Ultimate Team today. It can be obtained by completing a set of squad-building challenges (SBC).

Here’s the thing about this John Stones card, it’s not that bad. It’s a good card that lets you upgrade base Joe Gomez. The issue is that he’s going to run you about 145,000 coins, which is significantly more expensive than Gomez. And, for only 50,000 coins more, you can grab base Virgil van Dijk. So, he’s essentially stuck in a spot where he’s not top-tier, but also not good or cheap enough to really be worth your coins. It’s a weird choice from EA as I’m not sure who’s completing this card at that price.
