Temtem will be getting a nuzlocke game mode

Temtem can’t get enough of their Pokémon inspired features – it shouldn’t be a surprise really, it’s a Pokémon-inspired MMO after all. Crema have released yet another roadmap through early access and beyond, this time telling us about some of the lovely new things we can expect to start arriving in the game from this winter, including a good old fashioned Nuzlocke game mode. They’ve also provided some details on an upcoming battle pass-style system, as well as something called Dojo Wars.

Let’s start with the Nuzlocke game mode because I like Pokémon and think it’s cool. The Nuzlocke Challenge is a player-created set of rules whereby every time one of your monsters gets knocked out in battle, you have to consider them dead and release them back into the wild. It’s basically like a super hard version of the game. If you are in lack of Temtem Pansun, visit our site 5mmo.com, a reliable and cheap online in-game currency store.

For Temtem, the Nuzlocke mode will be on a different instance of the server, so you’ll only play amongst other Nuzlockers on your journey. You can battle these folks too, but be mindful that if you lose, that’s all your precious Tems gone forever. They’re also limiting the number of Temtem you can catch in each area, so you won’t be able to stock up with tons of backups. This mode is scheduled to arrive in summer 2021.

When Crema introduces this as an official game mode into Temtem there will be additional restrictions to make up for the fact that this is an MMO. “Nuzlocke players will play on a different instance of the server, and they will only play around other Nuzlocke players. Trading will be limited due to the Nuzlocke rules, but PVP will not. So if you’re brave enough, you will be able to duel other players and face a permanent loss,” the developer writes.

World of Tanks has officially launched the tech demo for EnCore RT

Yesterday, we reported on the new Ray Tracing effects tat World of Tanks will be getting. And today, we are happy to report that a new demo for World of Tanks is currently available. This new demo features these DirectX 11 Ray Tracing effects that players can experience themselves on their systems.

As we’ve already reported, Wargaming will use Intel’s Embree library to utilise CPUs so it can create a BVH construction. BVH stands for Bound Volume Hierarchy. In order to optimize the ray tracing calculations, Wargaming will use Bound Volume Hierarchy so it can distribute the triangles to specific boxes. The CPU will basically sort the triangles into boxes with four to eight triangles in each. Then it takes two boxes and puts them in a larger box and it repeats this process until a tank unit is made of huge boxes.

The EnCore engine within World of Tanks utilises Intel Embree to offload BVH (bounding volume hierarchy) tasks from the GPU to any available CPU core. BVH is a geometric structure that minimises ray tracing complexity through the use of cascading groups, and is currently executed courtesy of your graphics card. However, in an attempt to reduce GPU load and put multi-core CPUs to good use, Intel Embree will instead use any going cores within your CPU for this task.

This is done by using the Embree library made by Intel, which Wargaming collaborated with to implement this form of ray tracing. The Embree library is open source and contains methods for further levels of ray tracing, such as global illumination and more realistic reflections. However, these features would require significantly more rays to be traced along more complicated paths than those for shadows only. That means that it cannot realistically be implemented without turning the game into a slideshow. The shadows will also only be traced from working tanks to minimize the performance impact.

This seems like a case of expectation versus reality.  When we think of ray tracing, we expect far more than just improved shadows, but, nevertheless, we cannot fault Wargaming. Their implementation for improving the shadows is indeed, technically, done through ray tracing and should certainly make it look a good bit better. The Darkmoon Faire arrives in WoW Classic ahead of the next Phase 3 update

Tickets to the Darkmoon Faire will be available to use in WoW Classic today, February 10, 2020. Blizzard confirmed the news earlier month, revealing plans for the returning event online, along with news regarding new Phase 3 content. The full release time for the Darkmoon Faire has not been revealed yet by the development team, but fans should have full access in the coming hours.

MassivelyOP confirmed the Faire’s upcoming debut. It will start being teased on the 7th of February, with early hints of the Darkmoon Faire beginning to be found in the world. Once the Faire launches, players should begin collecting Darkmoon Cards to create powerful trinkets that will help them brave the dangerous depths of the new raid. The Faire will move between Mulgore, a Horde zone, and Elwynn Forest, an Alliance zone, every six days, allowing players of both factions to experience the Faire in its entirety.

Blizzard has been incrementally releasing patches as they existed back in the original game’s launch. While this recreation is almost completely faithful, there have been minor changes in the release cycle to help account for the content droughts that used to exist. Modern players get to experience new content in their favorite old MMO every few months now, with a new raid, Blackwing Lair, releasing shortly afterward on the 12th of February. This brings with it Phase 3, featuring this new raid. However, the planned debut of two new battlegrounds for the competitive Player vs. Player community were released earlier in December to help satiate the community’s desire for new content.

According to Blizzard, completing games and quests for the Darkmoon Faire will generally reward you with Darkmoon Prize Tickets. Tickets can also be earned by offering trade goods to Chronos, Kerri Hicks, Rinling, or Yebb Neblegear.

Gamers will need to speak to Gelvas Grimegate to redeem Darkmoon Faire Tickets for various prizes, including some epic-quality pieces of gear. You’ll also be able to trade in Darkmoon Faire Prize Tickets toward reputation. And the Darkmoon Faire isn’t the only big change coming to WoW Classic this week. Blizzard has also confirmed that more Phase 3 content will be released on Wednesday, February 12.  Finally, to enjoy all the features in the game, players can Buy WOW Vanilla Gold from 5mmo.com at a reasonable price.
